Share one reference
Give everyone the same complete rule page or sheet. Record the mode name and any agreed changes. A familiar game title alone does not explain all first-trick, passing or scoring details.
Make the sequence visible
Keep a small note for the current stage. During a teaching hand, announce whether you are selecting a pass, receiving cards, playing or settling the result. This can make an unfamiliar process easier to follow without adding a new rule.
Ask one useful question
Choose a small learning goal for the session. A specific question about a visible situation is easier to answer than a debate about every possible exception.
Close with a note
Write one thing the group understood and one question to revisit. This is an original preparation exercise, not an official format or a guarantee of playing performance.
